I'd say Buffet - Simple strategy, sophisticated execution. Simons' Renaissance Technologies - Sophisticated strategy, sophisticated execution. BTW sophisticated shodesn't just mean complex. It also means "having a refined knowledge of the ways of the world cultivated especially through wide experience" merriam-webster.com But even just with the complex part, being really rigorous in the evaluation of a company is complex.
