The absurdity is in your zeal to attribute false logic to others and proclaim your self above it.

The documentation of long suffering consideration by scholarly believers in these specific issues is well known. The foundations of what you (not I) proclaim to be the more rational way of thinking was initiated and forewarded to you by such considered and honorable men of faith and integrity.

What could have provoked you into making such an obviously falacious comment?

There are far more unknowns than knowns. Infact, nothing in temporal existence is truly known in a perfectly undeniable complete sense. The mystery and wonder of things is more certainly observable than are hard facts. Educated belivers like everyone else seeks to know whatever can be known in any way and at whatever level it can be known, while maintaining respect for mystery and wonder.

The truth has only one need, which is to be revealed. The act of revealing, as we understand it, involves thought, consideration, observation, and discovery, none of which can be undertaken without some belief about the issue under consideration. Therefore, scientific investigation is one form of revelation. It is useful. The mistake you make is concluding that it is therefore the only path to truth, leaving you in error and confusion as you mock the truth and wisdom available to you from other sources.
