Asked to clarify, Sessions said he wasn't drawing a direct connection between the GOP and the Taliban. "I simply said one can see that there's a model out there for insurgency," Sessions explained. That will make a great commercial in '10 against Republicans who vote against everything. Taliban sympathizers. Cute. Especially after the way they treated Democrats when they were the majority.
