I can't really disagree on the lobbyist thing. It seems that EVERYBODY in Washington is either working for the Government or trying to sell the Government something. How do you end that when corporations are the ones financing everything these guys do, from campaigning to travel? On the tax thing, I think we should start going after the people that handle the money and do the accounting for these people. WHO was the accountant that didn't ask Geithner about that extra income, or the others about their personal employees, or Dascle about the fact that he NO expenses for personal transportation? Start "indicting" some accountants for filing fraudulent returns and I'll bet they will start paying better attention.
