There is light year of space between a government monopoly on health care and laissez faire.

And that light year of space, obviously includes our current system. Its not like we are at laissez faire now, or too many people are proposing to move to such a system. Its perhaps not a total straw man, but its not far from one.

And if we absolutely have to have that dichotomy, I still wouldn't assume the government monopoly is the best of the two choices.
