**but what ended that little pipe dream was the $7400/year real estate taxes.**

Years ago (approx. 6yrs) I did repairs on a house a little north of Gig Harbor, not on the water but with a view across the bay of Seattle. Their taxes were raised because they had a VIEW of the city!
