From SMIC's conf. call today: SMIC's flash revenue is very minimal at this time. SMIC is making 3 kinds of flash. 1. NROM based on Saifun technology. Already qualifed at fab at Wuhan. 2. 65nm NOR flash. It is being qualified at SMIC's customer (Spansion). 3. 43nm NAND flash. It is working very effectively. This technology can be used for either NOR or NAND. It is used to make ORNAND2. They are still trying to improve yield at 43nm.
