A tree is a product of nature. A computer is not.

You live in a world where it's common knowledge that computers are made by humans. I would ask you to set aside that knowledge for a moment and ask yourself without that knowledge how would you know a computer wasn't merely a product of nature only? After all, there are no materials in a computer that aren't derived from natural materials - hydrocarbons (plastics), silicon. I submit what would be unnatural in a computer is the software - encoded information.

I know you're not that stupid, so maybe you can realize how dishonest such an argument is? It appeals to emotion, not reason. Furthermore you're argument is: anything that exists must have a creator whether it be a tree or a computer.

On the contrary, there is no appeal to emotion in my question. Strictly reason. Nor is the existence of material things the issue I raised by the question. You shouldn't throw around words like stupid and absurd when you don't grasp the issue being argued.

I could ask you the same. You certainly have no logic or "scientific facts" to prove that God had nothing to do with us being here.

I'd have no qualm with that whatsoever. And I have no qualm with believers of all faiths who recognize their beliefs are faith based beliefs, not scientific facts.

By "scientific facts" do you mean truthful?
