I think Dexter's strategy is both clear and effective here.

He beefed up LBWR's computing infrastructure so that he is now very "scalable" - they can take on chunks of 100K to 200K more tests annully without blinking. This is the scale at which USIS and others will want to hand off work to them. Smaller bites aren't worth the hassle.

He has also "pitched" LBWR's back-office solution to senior people among the parent companies of the companies that compete with LBWR. Essentially, this message is "we can do it for you and give you back a cut of the profits that is more than the return you are getting from your in-house operation". This "sell" takes a while, but when it works, it works in big amounts all at once.

I think that these things, individually and in concert, will drive incremental business to LBWR in big chunks and at negligible marginal cost to LBWR.

I am quite content waiting on this strategy to come to fruition.
