Obama will either come out of this looking like a hero or a goat. While I'm disappointed with some of his early alliances, I suspect he will get it and follow through with some tough medicine once some sort of stability develops. The "K" panic button is right. He stepped into an elevator with a snapped. cable He's inherited a total mess with a large part of the problem being intentionally hidden a la Madoff. Bear in mind, 98% of the most public economists and advisors from Paulson down were fiddling the sweetest songs while the ship was sinking. He's a fighter. He showed some grit this week when he finally went on the attack against those trying to derail his goals. Yes, he's learning on the job. But he's a quick learner and incredibly sharp. It sure beats the alternatives we had or were presented. I think he's going to get it done. It's why I supported him. He was our best chance
