If you have an email account you only use for registering with odd sites (a good practice to avoid spam to your primary address), you might find it fun to reply to people like "Basil". Of course he'll ask for very detailed personal information but, being on a business trip, you just don't have that handy with you. But for sure you have terrible sympathy for the guy and will wire him all that money the moment you return home.

At some point, you'll accuse Basil of being someone else pretending to be Basil. For proof, he needs to send you a picture of himself dressed as the Easter Bunny, holding a sign that says "I'm Basil, the Wascaly Wabbit". As this is the "last step" before sending him the money, don't worry, he will. And so on.
