Has anyone followed MGD? How do they fit in the picture? Mandorin Goldfields Inc. - Status of South Voisey's Bay JV Mandorin Goldfields Inc. MGD Shares issued 14873439 1997-10-16 close $0.14 Friday Oct 17 1997 Also Donner Resources Ltd (DRZ) Mr Arn Schoch reports Mandorin has received various inquiries about the status of its Labrador property on which it announced a joint venture agreement with Donner Resources in June 1996. Mandorin entered into an agreement with Donner whereby Donner acquired an undivided 50% interest in the mineral claims that comprise Mandorin's 100% owned South Voisey's Bay property. This property is on the western border of Donner's/Northern Abitibi joint venture property where Teck has recently provided interim results intersecting a 1.1m interval of massive sulphide mineralization 13m below the base of the gabbroic/troctolitic sequence (averaging 11.75% nickel, 9.70% copper and 0.43% cobalt). Donner exercised its option on Mandorin's property by incurring $40,000 in expenditures on the property and filing with the Newfoundland government all required assessment reports documenting the work program. Donner continues to incur the minimum expenditures and file all assessment reports required in order to maintain the claims in good standing until June 7 1999.
