Considering the gains dems have made, I doubt it's center right any more. It might be center center- but if it's not that, it's center left now. It's definitely not very left- but I'd say it's some left- which is, of course, why some on the right are blowing gaskets and saying they're ready for civil war. The right is on the wrong side of the pendulum now.
