Please note i think i get this kind of stuff all the time from chris, ted and others re: the dual loyalty thing because i am jewish. If one is singled out as a jew to be charged in that way, its clear to me that it is a form of anti-semitism. Ted suprised me when he piled on during the gaza war. It bothers me--they know it so they will continue.
Korea was fought just after WW2. Anti-japanese rhetoric was rampant in the US during the war and most americans couldnt tell one asian from another--- even if it was another people who had been brutalized by the japanese. The epithets the greatest generation used against koreans were disgusting.
Why some liberals will use racism when it suits them against countries that are democratic and prosperous always confounds me. Using an out of context quote from someone who fought in Korea is just flat out wrong.
In their eyes SK and Israel must suck because they are rich and powerful while their prime opponents are poor? Well perhaps the other side in both areas should forgo war, terror and anti-freedom activities and pursue some econ development and political freedom of their own rather than whine, launch rockets or threaten use of nukes. It's funny that the same folks who routinely take on Israel joined forces against american troops in SK.
