How many "scientists" thought that hurricanes would get progressively worse after Katrina? Hurricanes have set records every year except one after Katrina. The provincial "if it doesn't hit the US it's not a major hurricane" leads to complacency. The trend continues... the whim of steering currents may make it seem less but it's not.
