- Felix - Shortest time to become a Category 5 Hurricane from being declared a Tropical Storm (39 Hours) (Old Record was Hurricnae Wilma which took 48 Hours) Must Check Others

- First time a Season had 2 Landfalling Category 5 Hurricanes (Hurricane Dean, Hurricane Felix)

- Shortest time in between 2 Category 5 Hurricane Landfalls (14 Days - Hurricane Dean, Hurricane Felix)

- Shortest time in between 2 Category 5 Hurricanes (13 Days) (Checking out 1960 for lack of good information)

- Shortest time in between the formation of 2 Category 5 Hurricanes (13 Days) (Checking out 1960 for lack of good information)

- Tied with 2005 for the only time 2 Category 5 Hurricanes occured in the same season in the Carribian (Hurricane Dean , Hurricane Felix)

- Humberto - Shortest time to become a Hurricane from being declared a Tropical Depression (14.25 Hours) (Old Record was between 18 and 24 Hours - Hurricane Florence of 2000, Hurricane Erin of 1995, Hurricane Bonnie of 1992, Hurricane Earl of 1986, Hurricane Kate of 1985, and Hurricane Kendra of 1978)

- Lorenzo - Shortest time to become a Hurricane from being declared a Tropical Storm (7 Hours) (Old Record was Hurricane Blanche of 1969 and Hurricane Lorenzo of 2007 which took approximately 12 Hours. Also Hurricane Ethel of 1960 intensified from a 45 mph Tropical Storm to an 85mph Hurricane in just 6 Hours but since this was before the satellite era we are not sure when it became a Tropical Storm)
