This may be too bold of a comment but I will say it anyway. The big boys wanted the market to come down. Simply put the technicians and fundamentalist at the BIG BOYS are taking advantage of a weak market.

I cant forget a few days ago or even yesterday when one of the big boys, forget whom, said on CNBC that INTC was attractive but they would buy if it got a bit lower. Being the suspicious type I just have to make the connection.

What they did not realise is that they are damaging the technicals, but what do they care - they will have enough cash on the sidelines to buy back.

Sorry to sound so negative, but I just have to believe that there was manipulation involved, especially being a technician.
