Yeah. One of their more interesting qualities. That, and once they become a depression, they seem more likely to go all the way. It has been a while since we had a season with just a single hurricane.

Yeah. When I first moved down here I wasn't really scared of these things. The projections were pretty good. You had time to react. Now what's projected to be a cat 1 or 2 can morph into a cat 4 or 5 in a couple of hours. And running from every cat 1 is not an option for most people.

Makes a big difference...
