I always believed the idea that academic politics are so vicious because the stakes are so low. Now these guys all claim to have the best insight into how to change an entire economic system in a country of 300 million people with a globally connected economy. "My school good, your school bad!"

Not even close, in my book. Ditto the folks on Capitol Hill, who have an equal amount of executive responsibility and experience in many cases.
