Where does one buy a CO detector? Where should it be located in the home? My fire/smoke detector is on the ceiling at the top of the stairs coming from my basement, as the instructions advised. Seems like the CO detector might be best placed in the basement where my furnace and water heater is located (as well as my office where I spend hours and hours a day).
