Perfectly valid skepticism, IMO. But I'm inclined to slip in a, 'So what?' at the end.

I am attempting a different angle on this dispute between the Pals and the Israelis. I am long on record as declaring it irresolvable by conventional means. Which doesn't mean it is irresolvable altogether. I can think of a number of circumstances that would bring it to conclusion.

The 'angle' I am pushing today is one of incompetence. What if the 'shock' of blasts was seen as virtually neutralised even if that weren't the absolute case. Perception of reality, is reality ... as the saying goes. If Israel can create that perception, Hamas is forced to move to something else. A repeating fizzle does not accomplish their goal on the world stage, even if they can claim the neutralization wasn't absolute.
