I think we are talking about the same thing, which is CNBC is always wrong, only in the inverse.

As for a GM or Chrysler BK, well I have no specific knowledge greater than anyone else. My very, very high level friend at Chrysler resigned three weeks ago to become COO at a supplier, so my really inside information at Chrysler is more limited now.

As for the potential for a BK, it is high if the sales numbers continue at this pace. They must sell many more units to make the nut, and many, many more to actually reach bottom line profit (sure certain platforms that sell well can make a book profit, but in the context of the entire operation, they need much higher numbers).

I will add this. Today, finally, I have Chrysler releases. And now I can start working down the mountain of inventory I'm catching hell from my North American chief over holding at our cost.
