f the number of people needing it increases or the length of time it's needed increases, then not increasing it enough to match the increased need then you re effectively taking away their food stamps. And so when do we ever have to tighten our belts just a little? Never? It is this thinking IMO that is so dangerous. If you want to increase welfare, fine, but figure out a way to pay for it. The federal government is little different from others who spend beyond their means. There is eventually a day of reckoning. We call it bankruptcy if it is a person or a business..... steve
