Just added as many ":Tudors" to my netflix queue as I could get.

I sure have seen some bad attempts at filmmaking recently, after having enjoyed all of "I Claudius" for the second time.

Listen KT: our government has gone insane. It's not as bad as when Hitler or Napoleon invaded Russia or when the Chinese had their Great Leap Forward and Cultural revolution, let alone things like Pol Pot. But there may never have been such an egregious case of financial insanity since John Law.

I've never liked gold very much but except for gold and oil I can't think of anything --well, TBT, when the treasuries go to hell.

I just ate a Taco Bell Cheesy Bean Burrito. The price was up over 23% from where it had been for a long time. I bought two bottles of prescription pills: $140. Partly covered by insurance, too; that was the copay.

I think that's just the beginning. Did you see my quote from the Scottish economist Niall Ferguson? The other day he said, "Nobody seems to have noticed that we already have a Bad Bank. It is called the Federal Reserve System."

I sure wish Bill Meehan had not got killed in the 9/11 catastrophe. He would have had good things to tell us.
