John;

but I'm not ready to have the state decide who can have children.

The State doesn't. We're talking about a medical procedure paid for by taxpayers. I have to tell you I'm shocked at your response. Shocked and a little troubled that this is mainstream democrat thinking?

Here is a list of common sense rules that should apply to every single person getting the medical procedure that the woman of 14 kids and paid for my you and I;

1) No procedure for unwed single mothers.
2) No procedure for married woman who already have 2 or more kids
3) No procedure for woman who are not mentally stable
4) No procedure by doctors who have been in trouble with the State

Any of these would have disqualified this procedure. The discussion has to do with federal dollars to the State. The procedure to this woman was paid for by state insurance - by state tax payers. Now you want to help out the State with tax dollars. No no no!
