" think all would agree that Bush cliff dived the economy" I don't see it exactly that way. I think his guilt is the same as those that went before him. Too much spending, too much debt encouraged by government and particularly the Fed. He just got caught with the hot potato and now Obama has it. I think Bush was totally ignorant economically as is Obama. I also believe that Washington caused this mess but it didn' come on us in George Bush's eight years. It was caused by a long history of inability to control spending, taxes, debt and the growth of government. I am not dismissing Bush'e role in the mess, just trying to place it in perspective. lj
