The weekend verbosity was really about showing how there is much more to resources than gold ... really can't see you in ktn.v, since they're pulling cores that in addition to silver zinc and lead, do have some gold values -g- ... i'm into Kootenay from three years ago in the .60s, did a moderate amount of moderately successful trading since, so am in the green, feeling sheepish for having let so much opportunity go by however

Fwiw i don't know much about mining either, just followed its stocks for years ... went into a mine once, maybe fifteen or twenty metres, when the light got dim and the pit props seemed to get skinnier and rottener, it felt like a good idea to stroll back outside right away

But it's like any other business, you have three crucial Ps - People Property and Phinancing ... get the right People and they naturally handle the other two factors, their histories of doing so well is what shows you they're right ... you likely don't have full knowledge of how to make a cellphone, but you don't need to, you have management to handle that, your job is assess the quality of their performance, which is not a technical thing, but a people thing

Speaking of tech - there is a lot of it in resources, some game-changing developments came with modern geophysics and drilling tools/techniques ... also miners use cellphones, while cellphones depend on the products of miners - you see, we are all One

Zinc interesting, yes, also silver ... a true money, and at the same time an industrial metal, with no sizable stocks above ground ... if/when a new or greatly expanded use comes along, or if/when fiat money makes another bold move toward zero, silver flies
