Crossy, Endeavour (END) -- they actually have a pretty full slate of wells scheduled to be drilled in Norway this year, about 4 or so I believe. The chances of them selling much in Norway are low IMO, since they want to make sure that one of their largest investors, the Smedvig family of Norway, stays interested in the stock. My presumption is that one of the reasons the Smedvigs like END is that END is operating in Norway.

BTW, I'm curious if you may have heard of these Smedvig folks and if so, whether you have anything about them you might want to share. Here is the PR announcing the completion of a convertible debt financing that END did with Smedvig about a year ago, phx.corporate-ir.net .

Regarding US drilling, END is way ahead of you, see their PR dated 1/9/09. They are currently testing a well that could discover a field that is thought to contain up to 1 TCF of gas. They only have a 7% NRI in that but it would still be an impactful discovery if they find that much gas.
