Alright, here is one for starters. The initial Stimulus bill out of one of the houses of congress contained a provision to do away with the means test for Medicaid to pay your health insurance for two years if you've lost your job.

No means test. John Thune (Ex-CEO of Merril Lynch) sign up right here. Let's see if this survives conference (if it hasn't already been discarded).

Let see what kind of tax credit for buying a house they come to agreement on and with what restrictions--(The Senate provisions for 15k for anyone buying a new home has been called "Flip your house to your brother-in-law" provision>)

But all of the above aside--don't you agree this is kind of crazy way to run a railroad. Don't we have to practice economic triage here? I dare say each of us as individuals would have to approach a crisis in that matter. Instead we're practicing "voodoo" economics. (All economics is voodoo as far as I'm concerned. Just cut a chicken open and look at its entrails.)
