I do stained glass and metal sculpture, and over the years I can't say how much flux and trace lead amounts and copper amounts I've absorbed through my hands and breathed in. 25 years can lead to alot of lead, and fumes.
Anymore, the general environment is very toxic because of insecticides and cleansers and such. Perfumes are very aggravating. I had to give up dryer sheets altogether, because even the unscented ones had something in them.
We don't notice the assault when we're young and our energy is full and robust, but over the years we become saturated and slowly overwhelmed.
I believe the autoimmune disorders stem from this overload of chemicals.
I do however know of a way to strengthen the immune system by energetic means.
When my wife was diagnosed with Systemic Lupus, we went into alternative methods.
Reiki started the best adventure. After that we were introduced to other energy methods, and I was reading everything on chigong. It turns out that a relatively little known method called Bone Marrow Chigong, and also called Marrow washing, held the intent of directing energies into the bone marrow through breathing exercises and various types of movements. Taichichuan eventually brings the energies into the bones, but the practice HAS to include energetic breathing like the microcosmic orbit and Shen Breathing while doing the movements. The point here is that the immune system is born in the marrow, as is the blood. It made sense to me to learn more about it to bring about normalization of the marrow energies.
Adding the energetic breathing to the daily schedule slowly recharges the energy we've dissipated over the years.
As a kind of contribution to this information, it is only fitting to share a few energy methods. My First internal arts teacher didn't teach any energy methods to beginner students, and that struck me as he didn't know that many methods. I found out later that was mostly the case. BUT, in the traditional methods taught by those old Masters, it actually took about ten to twenty years to develop the flows even if you knew the proper methods, so it didn't make sense that my teacher hoarded his slight knowledge.
So, simple is best at this point. (for those interested in the Prana breath)
First, ponder that fact that every star fills all space with its energetic presence. Radio telescopes tell us each one has its own personal signature.
The Agni Yoga material tells us that we don't gain the benefits of The Fires of Space, unless we address them and acknowledge them with each breath.
Become aware that we are embraced totally by energy from all of the stars in the sky. After that, its a matter of breathing the stellar fires into the body and intending that the energies join up with the blood circulation in the lungs, and deliver the energies to each cell that the blood cells deliver their "mail" to. More conscious breath, more build-up of energy. The good news is, you won't do it so much that you create problems due to "too much". The mind takes a break from it. My original schedule was to just do one hundred energy breaths a day, (about two years ago). That was challenging though it doesn't sound like much. Regular practice in little bits at a time is better.
You will learn little bits of new things because the energy actually starts teaching you how to improve the practice.
No kidding.
I'm now into week 107 since I started that way, and my daily methods aren't anything like they were two years ago.
The second method I want to present with this is to present grounding.
In all electronic circuits you have a source for the energy, an activity, and a place for it to go when it is done. Ground is where it goes when it is done with the errand you gave it to do. (the energy)
Get a sense of just draining down into the ground through the feet, energetically. Basically telling the earth, here is what I can't use. So there won't be an excess, there will be flow.
You breathe the energy into yourself, it circulates to your cells, and eventually finds the pathway back to the earth. Flow.
Those two things will take your exercise in this area quite a way down the path. It won't hurt to read any of Yang Jwing ming's books on the topic, and Mantak Chia's books on the topic. I like Yang's approach a little more, but you should compare them and decide for yourself. If nothing else you'll learn more about the practice of Chigong and see what else you can do with it.
This also leads to the detoxification of chemicals you do not need because you're supplying the tissues with a kind of "essence" energy which can be used for many kinds of things. General stamina will improve.
I know this is a long post, but you cannot regurgitate 25 years of this kind of study easily.
My wife gains a great deal of boost when I spend 2 minutes on her feet in the mornings before I go to work while she is still sleeping, and I fill her marrow with white light energy. Learn what the bones look like, and when you fill the bones see them as bright white light shaped like the bones. After that the flow takes the energy into the marrow for new cells, and on into the day through your actions back to the universe they came from. Flow. Bring them in and give them back through activities.
And a thank you very much for your help, in attitude. |
