Penni, I have to tell you directly that that was great. Too many Chiefs all fighting to be boss and not enough Indians actually making sure it is going okay. Too many people just giving up and saying it's all too hard and hopeless. Well, email is tough, but the rest can probably be sorted out.
Morning coffee while the rest of the house sleeps! Tell me about it! [to coin a phrase]. Lady Christiane says there are many lonely spouses while their one time partner clicks away at a keyboard. I bet there are millions of lights on at weird hours of the night these days. It has turned into a 24 hour world. And it will only become more so.
It is really fun though. As you say, it isn't easy to be at the bottom of the heap and enjoy this stuff. Unfortunately, the bottom of Maslow's heap is always calling. Pure self actualisation is few and far between. Just when I think things are ticking along pretty smoothly, there I am at the bottom of the heap again, wet, cold with the car broken down in the middle of nowhere, not quite with it in other areas too.
So we keep on climbing the hill, getting to the high ground of Maslow's pinnacle. Boy it's a long way up!! Are you really there? Wow! It'd be nice just to follow you around and watch in awe - just kidding, I'm sure you have enough to battle with, otherwise you wouldn't even bother clicking away here. You'd just sit idly in bliss somewhere - then again, maybe you are and this is it!
