First let me say that most of the Republicans are living in a fantasy world where tax cuts are the answer to every problem.

OTOH, the Democrats arent much different. Isnt it amazing that the best way to stimulate the economy just happen to be the exact Democratic priorities for the last half century.

Expand healthcare coverage. Check.
Drastically increase spending on Education. Check.
Increase spending on Welfare. Check.
Expand the Food Stamp program. Check.
College Assistance. Check.
Next-gen energy initiatives. Check.
Infrastructure spending. Check.

Hmmm, I'm trying to think what might be missing from a list of what would have been the top Democratic priorities all along. Perhaps some sort of universal day care program? Not much else seems to be missing.

The Democrats must be so happy that the absolute BEST way to stimulate the economy just happens to be everything that the Democrats wanted to spend money on anyway.
