Suma, I agree with you. I don't understand the lack of civility that has become acceptable not only on SI but in society in general. I will discuss various viewpoints with any one if we can have a respectful discussion. Over the years some of my best friends have had vastly different philosophical views on life, yet we respect one another, listen to one another, and remain friends. As a matter of fact, we have switched roles and argued the other viewpoints for fun, as we listen to one another and know where they "are coming from". I remain quiet mostly on SI, as I do not wish to irritate people and argue and fight. I read for the ideas that others put forth and I learn from that. Yet, the personal attacks and vitriol that is casually tossed about is very disconcerting. Thanks for sharing and contributing. Provider
