Sam, do you have any specific ideas why the disk drive stocks have been getting creamed in the last month or so? Or to put it slightly differently, was there any way to see it coming, before, during or after the fact? I'm taking a lopsided view of the 'facts', but it started with WDC and the first pre-warning on estimated EPS. Then WDC came out with the second pre-warning on EPS. The SEG came out with its EPS report. And the stocks are still tanking (I'm talking in general terms, about the dd sector stocks), and the implied reason (given currently for the weak price action) is the foreign currency crisis. Having said that, was there any way to get out early, or even to get out late, based on any fundamental warning signs? -LK PS. What is a simple way to edit or check these posts before I submit them? I keep making simple spelling errors that I find hard to believe that I really made.
