I am thinking what probably happened was in one of the early versions of the bill there was some language in there along those lines. When the wingnuts starting screeching about ACORN, it got pulled. But, the auto emails were already hitting the inboxes and still are. So the manufactured rage continues over something that hasn't existed in months... This propagating myths via emails is not a bad strategy. These guys have no shame, so shooting them down doesn't make any differences. No doubt we will be hearing about the billions that ACORN got for years.
