CNBC stated that the drop in Semi-conducter stocks is based on the fact that 54% of ALL purchases are from Japan and the Asain market. The currency problem has the market spooked and with over 50% of all World purchases coming from the "pockets" of the Pacific Rim consumers, they are nervous of their future spending habbits.

P.S. Lets get real about this $6,000 purchase line necessary to get SoftDVD. People don't buy those kind of computers to get DVD. They are buying the advances in technology (All the new whistles and bells). Of course you can buy add-ons much cheaper, but do you think no one wants to upgrade their entire system.

David, you are a very inteligent person who delivers valuable
information to people on this thread and others who follow DVD. Why don't you lay off all your SoftDVD "Jabs"; some of us do believe in this technology and have a lot of money invested. All it does is make you sound a bit childish, which is way below the person I sense you are. Good luck to you and hope this rollercoaster ride ends soon.
