>> My Father in Law encountered snakes like that in Borneo.

Probably one of the most fascinating people I ever met was a client who always showed up in my office on April 1 to have his taxes done, and promptly left thereafter each year (leaving me power of attorney to sign his return for him) and took off on some kind of ordeal.

Each year he filled me in on his prior year's jaunts -- one year to Central America, the next to Alaska, wherever it took him.

Anyway, while in Central America he told the story of driving through the jungle in an effort to get to a town, and coming to a log across the trail. Frustrated and unable to get around it, they sat down next to the log and went to sleep in the rain. Later, they awakened only to realize there was a huge anaconda laying on the log next to them.

Aside from Obama I fear two things in life -- heights and snakes. I would love to have had that guy's life at times. But the snake blew it for me; no way.
