Almost 6 years ago, Bob Brinker recommended equities over any other asset class. Two of this three model portfolios became 100% invested in stocks. It was March 2003. The S&P 500 was 810. It is the same today. For someone who has bragged endlessly about that recommendation his timing, etc. it is frankly surreal. How much is gold up since then? How much is a CD up since then? How much are commodities up since then? How many times did Bob "time" the market and sell over that 6 years. I heard him brag probably 150 times about how great his subscribers had it for his buy signal, but not a peep about how that buy signal has been the market started caving in 2007.
