Ted, > When did Bush ever put on a town hall where tickets were available to the public?

When are you going to stop excusing everything Obama does on the basis of what Bush did, especially considering that you think Bush was the worst president in history?

I am not excusing Obama at all. I don't see what I have to excuse him for. Look...whenever Obama came to speak in Seattle, I was sent an email from the local senate office alerting me. At the time I was not registered Dem nor had given money to Obama. The only reason the senate had my email address is because I would let them know what I thought about what was happening in Congress. In other words, I believe your criticism to be specious.

As for me, I have very little about which to criticize Obama. He is working hard to be as fair and as competent a president as possible. In fact, my only criticism is that he's catering too much to the Rs. Why I don't say anything is because I understand what he's trying to do......although I think its pretty hopeless.
