320% Growth in Switched Ethernet...?

See below. Taking the 4 billion projection for '96 and dividing it by the 1.25 billion actual for '95, we come out with 320% growth, year over year?

Am I missing something here? You'll notice MRVC is not mentioned, presumably because it is too "small" a company, even compared to Xylan (certainly MRVC is relatively small in terms of market cap). It could be said that MRVC is the "low-end leader," if you refer back to Noam Lotam's earlier statements concerning feature/price points of the MegaSwitch II.

1. Why is MRVC trading with a relatively small market cap?
2. Isn't MRVC a likely buyout candidate at these levels, especially considering the unique fiber optic products on top of the profitable switches?

<< Dell'Oro Group of Portola Valley, Calif., reports that lower-price switches now comprise a higher share of unit sales than expected. So Dell'Oro trimmed its '96 switched Ethernet revenue forecast by 20% to $4 billion from roughly $5 billion.
But this still represents a stunning advance over '95's $1.25 billion in switched Ethernet sales. Market share gainers thus far in '96 include Cisco Systems Inc. of San Jose, Calif.; Cabletron Systems Inc. of Rochester, N.H.; and Xylan Corp. of Calabasas, Calif.>>
