People complain about the current 5-6% premium on buying the physical coins directly, but in my mind it doesn't make sense for GTU or CEF to carry these premiums when you can own the gold yourself w/less premium. Seems to me one arb play would be to buy the physical directly and short vehicles such as GTU and CEF that carry high premiums. I've been accumulating more physical of late as I see the premiums going much higher once we cross 1K. If CEF can carry a premium of 15% I don't think it's unreasonable for the physical to eventually carry premiums of 25%+ (again assuming you can find it).
