Last night on cross fire the left was arguing that we needed the government to provide child care for children in families where the mom has to work, and that corporate america obviously was not going to provide this vital service.The guest was from the family institute
center or some such group, and she was trying to convey that parents should have more contol over their own kids, the government should be less intrusive.Of course as she tried to speak calmly and intelligently she was only met by yelling and accusations from the blowhard on the left. AT one point she simply stated that if 50% of the husbands pay check was not garnished by the government for tax purposes the wife could stay home and raise her family without the need for daycare. This was met by more yelling and something to the effect that those 50,s ideas have no relevance to the present. At that point I turned it off in disgust. Between fed,state and fica I pay 55% tax, with the money thats left I invest in the market and I'm taxed another 32%, I go to buy gas and 1/2 the price is tax, the food I buy is taxed and so is the toilet paper, another non essential item. But still Bill and Hillary tell me that I'm selfish and non caring. I'm just an evil rich republican. Well I'm not rich, I'm
just one of those middle class people that Bill Clinton promised a middle class tax cut to then mysteriously raised them retroactively.Boy, I'd sure love to take a peek at Bill,s off shore bank account statement and that goes for the hollywood A-holes that support him!
