Whose body is the child a part of? "IYO is it okay for a pregnant woman to abuse alcohol and drugs as much as she wants? After all its her body." The woman has a medical condition she may or may not be aware of....your doctor often recommends changes in lifestyle for your medical condition but you don't have to follow his recommendation. And a drug addict or smoker is unlikely to stop her habit because she is pregnant.... Non addicted mothers will most often make the lifestyle change with her baby's welfare at heart.... To answer your question....no, I don't think it's OK for a woman to use drugs or alcohol or smoke when prego....and I don't think it's OK for you to tell her she can't abort...
