< 1.0 is a good number. Didn't they give you actual number, BTW?

Couple of things to keep in mind:
- statins also lower C-Reactive Protein, (therefore inflammation). This may turn out to be the real reason why statins work for some people
- your normal state of inflammation (without statin) would be higher, meaning, if you stop statin and do nothing else, CRP will likely rise
