Fun with cable tv. My cable tv network installed a converter on my tv. This is not because my tv was not ready for changeover, which doesn't happen until June, now, but because they were changing their delivery system.
My vcr changed the channel, so it didn't work the next day. I read the instructions, which said to keep the converter box and old tv remote on channel 4. I did that, and it didn't work. I called for a repair geek.

He came out, changed my channel to 3, and everything worked.

"Keep it on 3, Senor."

"But it says 4 in the operating guide."

"You cannot believe what you read."

It made me feel like I'm with a company that really knows what they're doing. <G>
