Not one "guru" has been consistently correct. With due respect, that is simply nonsense. That is the excuse Wall Street and brokerage firms use to explain to people where half their money/retirement went. Many people saw it coming, most chose to turn a blind eye. I don't consider myself a guru. I'm not even a professional investor. But I made money in the stock market last year and I'm up so far this year. It wasn't luck. I read ferociously. I learn from people much smarter than I am. I pay attention to what I see rather than to people who are trying to sell me something. I accept my own frailties and take responsibility for my mistakes. I try to learn from my mistakes so I don't repeat them. Maddoff bilked many gullible investors but not nearly as many as are deceived and separated from their money every day because they are lazy and gullible. best... LIG
