She's Back! Arriving if not quite arrived. ... and playing at 19 as a Stanford Soph and a legitimate LPGA rookie with a legitimately earned LPGA card (6th in qualifying) in the SBS Open at the Turtle Bay Course in Kahuku, Oahu, Hawaii (her home course). She shot a -6 66 in R1 and a -2 70 yesterday, is tied for the lead with Angela Stanford a stroke ahead of Angela Park, entering today's final round. Yet again she has a shot at winning her 1st LPGA tournament. This one's more scenic and more fun for curmudgeons to watch than this year's PGA Clambake at Pebble. Televised on TGC if not the networks. - ce -
