Torture is always wrong. This is one area that couldn't be more black and white. Oh really now? Were you ever spanked as a child? That's a form of physical torture, especially if the parent (principal) leaves a mark. And from what I understand, water boarding is not physically damaging. Very little, if any, water actually enters the subject's mouth/nose. Is that such a terrible thing to do, if the information you obtain saves the lives of an innocent person(s)? Like I mentioned before, if it was your family who was threatened.. Err, wait.. . I guess you've made it quite clear you'd just sit by and wait for the cops to show up... And if you're so against using physical means to protect your family, I wonder how you'd react while a gang of thugs rape your daughter or wife.. Just call 911, right? I feel sad for your family..
