First of all, Jefferson was not a Christian....in fact, he was at odds with the Christians who were calling him an atheist, deist, and the devil.... His religious beliefs seem to be much like Einsteins in the sense that he did not accept a personal god and usually referred to a Creator (of the universe). The church attendance you cite was not to worship but for his intellectual pursuits and discussions with people of religion.
I don't find anywhere that he belonged to a church. And the Unitarian belief you ascribe to him are his lofty thoughts about a god (creator), not as an offshoot of Christianity...
