I have a big-assed carbon footprint. Looking around the room I'm in right now, we have 7 PCs plus two laptops, a couple of color laser printers, a 42" TV, stereo, etc.
And we never, EVER turn ANY of it off. First thing I do when we get another computer is to disable all that green crap that causes trouble.
I know, I should be shot. My wife, too -- she left the freaking oven on yesterday from 10am until midnight (forgot to turn it off after breakfast).
And I worked it out one time, it costs $30/month to heat the hot tub.
But I do pay my utility bill, every month. And you know, Entergy isn't bitching about what I spend with them. What's up with that? |
